The high court of Karnataka officially notified for RECRUITMENT OF CANDIDATES TO THE POST OF SOFTWARE TECHNICIANS. This is helpful for the students who are qualified first class by the Bachelor of Engineering/  Computer Science/ Bachelor of Technology in Electronics/ Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology OR in M.Sc (Computer Science/Electronics) OR in M.C.A.  Online applications are invited from applicants who are qualified.


The examination has held on 07/12/2014 Sunday with the question papers in versions A1, A2, A3 and A4. So many students were applied and wrote exam on that day. Finally on 18/12/2014 High Court Of Karnataka released List of candidates who secured 35 (out of 70) and above through the online link http://karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in/softtech.asp.
There were 1457 candidates who have scored 35 marks and above in the written examination held on 07/12/2014 for the post of Software Technicians. This is for recruitment to 32 posts of Software Technicians. After written test has been completion for 70 marks next step is to conduct Viva voce for 30 marks. Only such candidates who secure a minimum of 35 Marks in the written test will be short listed for the viva voce.
A written examination paper for RECRUITMENT OF SOFTWARE TECHNICIANS contains 70 questions with multi choice answers on it. Each question will have one statement and four choices(different options). The duration of the examination is 90 minutes during the subsequent 90 min:

  • Read each question carefully.
  • Choose the correct answer from out of the four available options. 
  • Completely shade / darken the relevant circle with a blue or black ink ballpoint pen against the question number on the given OMR answer sheet.
